Below are some websites we have found
interesting and/or useful. We think you might also:
-
http://www.HarvardGirlEdits.com
The website of Heidi Ratner-Connolly. She edited Ni'il: the
Awakening and was a true pleasure to work with. Every author or
prospective author should find a talented editor to help get their work
ready for publication. Ms. Ratner-Connolly is certainly worth your
consideration.
-
http://www.ancientmirrors.com
The website of fellow Oregon author Jayel Gibson, the best fantasy writer I,
personally, know. If fantasy is your forte, you should check out her
site.
-
http://www.dictionary.com
Useful online resource for anyone using the English language.
-
http://www.wikipedia.org
A fascinating, free, encyclopedia constantly written and updated by its
users.
-
http://www.critters.org
A very good, FREE online critique group dedicated to horror, sci-fi, and
fantasy. If you write in any of these genres, or even just want to
read some fresh, new voices, you should join.
-
http://www.socc.edu//scwriters/
The website of the South Coast Writer's Conference. Held every
February on Presidents' Day weekend, this intimate, inexpensive conference
is a great way to learn something new about the craft, network with fellow
writers, and walk away with a new enthusiasm for putting words together on
paper. It doesn't hurt that it's held on the beautiful Oregon coast
either.
